A beautiful Spad 13 owned by Scott Enochs from Oregon. It is from a Peter Barth kit, weighs 21 lbs and has a lazer 200 V-twin for power. Scott says it is about 2.5 years old.

A Fokker D-VII By Chauncey Dance. Scratch built from his own plans. About 22%, 20lbs.Chauncey used Bob Holman plans as his basis. The covering is fron Glen Torrence Models. Unfortunatley, Chauncey lost the Fokker on the first flight when the radio just quit playing.

A Nieuport 28 by Paul Haynes, also from Oregon. This ones a Protor kit done in Navy colors. It weighs 17 lbs and was powered by a lazer 200 twin. Unfortunately, this plane was also lost when the ailerons went full over, not enough rudder to overcome. It spun in.

This is Bill's airplane, a 1/3 scale Sopwith Pup from a balsa USA kit. A much modified Balsa USA kit. It uses a Fuji 80 cc twin for power. It also is a national scale winner.

Ok, I'll explain the tape on the top ailerons. Bill forgot the aileron tie rods. The upper ailerons are driven from the bottom, so , for him to fly, he taped the upper ailerons in neutral and hoped the lower had enough authority to fly the plane. It worked very well.
